Group Show : Minding Minds Together
On the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement artists Paul Doran & Niall Conlon feel that there has never been a more important time to prioritise the mental health of our population.
On the anniversary of such an inspiring, hopeful & historic day we would like to invite you all to our “Minding Minds Together” group show exhibition which opens in Ross’s Auction house, Belfast, on the 21st of April and runs until the 5th of May 2023, 9.30am-5pm.
The artists have created a series of artworks to raise funds to support mental health and suicide prevention charities across Northern Ireland.
The “Minding Minds Together” project artworks will be exhibited in Ross’s Auction House and will be for sale with 50% of the proceeds being donated to local mental health charities.
Also to raise further awareness artists Paul & Niall also teamed up with world-renowned muralist Mark Ervine to create a mental health themed mural titled “Peace Of Mind On The Peace Line” on the Belfast Peace Wall.
The artists also collaborated in their studio with two groups from the local community, Wave Trauma Centre & Queen’s University Medical Students.
These groups created a body of artworks that will be displayed in the exhibition collection alongside the artists own work.
In addition, the artists will be holding a series of workshops and events in the gallery space throughout the duration of the exhibition.
All these events plan to raise further awareness and funds & provide tools to help people cope with mental health issues across our province.
