Roy Wallace
Artist Bio
Born in Belfast, Roy Wallace is a largely self-taught artist who started drawing from his early childhood. It was American comics from the 1950s which sparked Wallace’s early interest in art. In 1974, Wallace took up painting full-time, with subjects ranging from field sports to rural life, and iconic American characters, with a particular sympathy for depicting nostalgic scenes of the Irish countryside and the American wild west.
