Pat Harris
Artist Bio
Born in Dublin in 1953, Pat Harris studied at the National College of Art and Design (1973-1978), The National Higher Institute of Fine Art Antwerp, and the University of Antwerp at which he received a PHD in Fine Art (2008). He is known for his figurative paintings, characteristic of his early work, along with his more recent creations which focus on landscapes and still life.
Harris’ work has been exhibited at several galleries including De Zwarte Panter, Taylor Galleries, Purdy Hicks and has been part of a number of public collections including The Arts Council of Ireland, The Irish Museum of Modern Art in Dublin, The National Self-Portrait and many more.
