Eva Henrietta Hamilton

Eva Henrietta Hamilton (1876-1960) was an Irish artist born in Dunboyne, Co. Meath who concentrated on portrait, landscape and watercolour painting. She studied under Sir William Orpen at the Metropolitan School of Art along with her sister and fellow artist Letitia Hamilton (1878-1964) and then the Slade School of Fine Art in London under Henry Tonks.

She has exhibited with the Water Colour Society of Ireland, the Royal Hibernian Academy (RHA) from 1904 to 1945, was represented in the Irish International Exhibition (1907) and received several commissions throughout her career.
