Coralie de Burgh Kinahan

Lady Coralie De Burgh Kinahan (1924-2015) was born in England but raised in Scotland and Ireland. She married Sir Robert Kinahan in 1950 and together they restored Castle Upton in Templepatrick, making it their family home.

Kinahan exhibited with the Royal Academy and the Royal Society of Portrait Painters. Her work is included in the collections of the Ulster Museum, the Imperial Museum, and the Ulster Defence Regiment. Kinahan was a diploma member of the Ulster Society of Women Artists and the Ulster Society of Watercolour Artists. From 1959 to 1961, she served as Lady Mayoress of Belfast.
